Capri Pizza is one of the best Family run pizza / sub shops that I have ever visited. As soon as you enter the door Karen (co-owner) greets you with a big hello! Sub's- made on their home made bread rolls are overstuffed and down right super. Pizza- forget-about-it. It's the best around! Pasta dishes- better than momma made and the veal is the best ever! I think that their signature dish would be their Chicken Caesar Salad. I can't say enough about it. The best salad I have ever had!! You can't beat a place that has friendly people, big selection, and quality food that tastes great!!! Smitty from Hanover---

Love this place, I've been eating here since I was a little kid. Huge NY style pizzas that are always piping hot, melty, and perfect. Their homemade sub rolls are to. die. for. Food is ready quickly and my orders have always been correct. Can't go wrong at this great family-owned pizza place!

Tried Capri last night for the first time. Was very happy and wondered why we waited so long to try it out. We had a simple order, Cheese steak and Gyro. The Cheese steak was on some fresh baguette type bread which made it all that better.

I was hoping to not have to do this. I had recently started getting pizza from here because the pizza place I had been frequenting was getting really sloppy and lazy and just declining in quality. I had started coming here due to yelp reviews and a suggestion from a friend. I honestly, truly do, love the pizza here. It is amazing and delicious and the cheese is yummy and the owners make suggestions and are spot on. Today though I ordered my usual (x-large white w/pepperoni,broccoli,& mushroom. If you ask for ricotta and roasted garlic its free. That was a suggestion from the wife unit of the owners ) Today I placed my order and had doubts its be right because the person taking the order didn't speak clearly and didn't seem to hear me properly. Which is the first time I've encountered that issue. I arrive to pick it up. And due to my previous issues at the previous pizza joint I'm wired to check it for accuracy. It's missing the pepperonis. Okay,no big deal. I bring it to their attention and they asked me to wait and they'll fix it. In my head I'll be waiting a while because I assume they would remake it .Considering the price of the pizza I thought that they would. NOPE! They merely places pepperoni on top. I try not to be finicky about things but this issue keeps happening to me everywhere I go. You can't just place a topping on after you cook the pizza. It becomes an afterthought and doesn't taste the same. The topping isn't melted in and doesn't taste included. Seriously, for the price I paid they should have remade it. I went hope and threw some mozzarella on it and broiled it quickly to melt it. Whatever. But I shouldn't have to do half the work at the price I paid. I will continue to go there after I take a break to forgive them, haha. Hopefully it won't happen again.

One of the few places to get a NY pie. It's a little bit of drive but worth it if you are looking for that style of pizza. Their white pizza is very good and their cannoli is pretty spot on as well.

The best pizza on Anne Arundel County, by far...I'm embarrassed to admit that we passed this place for 15 years without stopping...wow, they do a great job...I'm trying a calzone or stromboli next...the people who own it are extremely welcoming...don't make the same mistake we made, go here asap.

  • Cari H.

Capri has the best NY-style pies in the area. Their made-from-scratch dough makes excellent crusts and hoagie rolls. Cheese fries? Check. Garlic knots? Check. The owners are the real deal. Their extensive menu and reasonable prices will keep me going back.

    (5)
  • Carol E.

Absolutely delicious pizza, garlic knots, calamari, and salads. I wish it was closer to my home. The folks who work there could not have been a pinch nicer. Highly recommend. Thanks Capri.

First time I ain't there today ordered shrimp cheese steak sub.... paid 10.00 for it wasn't happy. I called to ask them to refund me at least half of the money since it ain't almost half of the sub..... instead of getting good customer service from the owner she was quite mean and ignorant cause I wasn't happy... she said she was insulted so I told her that the sub place across the street A1 Pizza was better she said that was a slap in her face I can get my money and have a nice life...

    Good pizza.

Best of the best in the area and locally owned. Capri has been Millersville's best kept secret for years. The white pizza is excellent.

  • Katie G.

This place is absolutely amazing. Karen is sure to great everyone with a smile every single time I come here. The pizza is absolutely amazing and the pizza has the perfect crust. The antipasto salad was a generous portion and amazing! I only wish they delivered.. Although I'd probably be ordering daily! Love this place!

I really need to stop watching Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. This show has sent me on a mission to visit every crappy hole-in-the-wall I pass by. I ordered a few different things to give them a fair shake. Before I list the items and my opinion of them, let me first say the hostess was extremely nice and gave me a good feeling walking in. Now for the food: grilled chicken Cesar salad - very good, fresh chicken and lettuce "fresh" bread that comes with salad - cold and forgettable pizza - better than the chains like Papa John's, Dominos, etc., but nothing to go out of my way for. Very similar to most independent pizza places. cheesesteak sub - under stuffed with low quality, dry, meat (probably frozen) on a cold roll. Not room temp, it was actually cold. A few other issues were the fact that the slices of pizza for 2 people in our party was ready in about 3 minutes. The food for everyone else came out 10 minutes later. And the prices weren't great for the quality of food. I wish them well because they were nice and the locals seem to love it, but, I will not go there again.

Excellent pizza and salads. This place is a definite must do, if you are in the area. My only complaint is that the dining area is very small.

  • Angel M.

I live in Bowie and read the posts , made the trip and glad I did ! Ordered the large Stromboli , South Jersey style, straight up pepperoni , cheese, sauce. Kinda bummed sauce was not inside but it was pretty darn good. I'm gonna see if they will make me a fried panzarotti next time. If your from S Jersey you know what I'm talking about ! 4 stars !! Very yummy !!

  • Adrian K.

Excellent food and even better service. Great homemade hoagie rolls. Generous portions for the price. Highly recommended for pizza and a good sub.

  • Adam H.

We order here every week or two. NY style with big slices, garlic knots, and homemade bread. Haven't found a better pizzeria yet in Maryland.

  • Rashaun B.

I'm so baffled right now after reading reviews of this place being" the best pizza joint in the area". initially I went to the Chinese place next door -they never acknowledged my presence at all so that was a warning sign and prompt for me to run. I was greeted w/ courteous & friendly smiles @Capri so I felt better about my decision. I ordered two slices of spinach pizza. once I got home the presentation of the slices were horrid .Garbage pizza wasn't on the menu some how it was sold to me .

  • Casey G.

I've been coming here since a kid when we first moved to Glen Burnie. Their home made sub rolls are amazing. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the fries are often hit or miss. Some days good, some days not.

  • Jonathan Y.

My wife and I just happened to notice this place while running errands. We don't necessarily live nearby but decided to check it out anyway. So glad we did. My wife checked out the menu online and read the pizza specials wrong. When we ordered we learned from Karen that the pizza specials only run on specific days. No big deal. We picked the pizza up and Karen was kind enough to honor the price that we originally thought it'd be when we had initially called. She provided us with our own menu (and offered plates and napkins) and off we went. The pizza was incredible. Just a simple pizza with only broccoli but great flavor. The sauce is great, the crust is super thin, and the slices were enormous. Just so happens we'll be back in the area tomorrow so we'll definitely be paying them a visit again tomorrow night. Thank you Karen!!! We're going to tell everyone how great your business is!!!!

    (5)
  • Michelle D.

I this NY style pizzeria and sub shop. They bake their own bread and the ingredients are fresh and tasty. I highly recommend the family owned business where you'll always be greeted with a smiley face. The owner Karen is the heart of the business.

No place ever had good of pizza as the place you grow up. Being from New Jersey pizza can be a picky topic for me. I have lived in Maryland I have found many great places to get pizza and too many not to get pizza! But all of it never quite matches up to what I grew up on until I found this place. This has been the closest to Jersey pizza I have gotten!! Needless to say I have found my new pizza spot!

    (4)
  • Nick F.

OK - I will start with a disclaimer: As I was born and raised on Long Island, I am very picky about my pizza and pizza-related products. I moved to Glen Burnie about 16 months ago and couldn't find great pizza. Capri is as close as it gets to pizza from home. Their Sicilian pizza is what I get the most. Sauce is very good as well. The Baked Ziti is very good, albeit a little watery. (This can be resolved by adding some ricotta - a delicacy that I have found Marylanders do not utilize enough.) The owners and staff are wonderful people who try and go above and beyond for me each time I stop in. Don't forget - they don't deliver (which I don't mind). Try a Sicilian pie and the chicken parm hero is pretty good as well.

  • Tammy N.

Absolutely the best pizza and sub place in Glen Burnie. Very friendly staff and family orientated. Only place my family and I will get subs and grilled chicken Caesar salad. The bread is Homemade which makes it all the more better. Love love love this place give it a try. Highly recommended!!!!!!

  • Amanda P.

I grew up going to Capri pizza. It's the pizza I hold all other up too And most don't cut it. Love their subs (especially the cheeseburger) and the Caesar salad is AMAZING!!

    (5)
  • Edward D.

First time in this restaurant. Definitely N.Y. style pizza/ subs. The Italian sausage calzone was one of the best that I have had in a long time. Loaded with ricotta, mozzarella cheeses. I will be back.

Whenever I find myself in Baltimore I make it a point to grab lunch at Capri on the way back down to southern Maryland. Growing up in Philly, I'm used to having the option of a decent cheesesteak on every other corner. Down here in crab land, it's seems that most places that try to offer a cheesesteak just serve up a boring imposter on a bad roll, a karaoke sandwich at a cheesy nightclub, if you will. Capri doesn't make that mistake. The cheesesteak here maintains the spirit of a Philly steak but is it's own distinct style of sandwich all together. Also, the pizza is the best boardwalk pizza I've had outside of the jersey shore.

  • Maura g.

Best pizza, subs on home baked bread, awesome salads, best cheesecake around MD. Great prices, no complaints. The owner stops by frequently and will ask how your food is. I've never even seen anyone complain. Small place only a couple of tables, carryout if you have more than 4 people.

  • Brandon P.

I use to LOVE this place but something has really changed. The last two times I have gone here I ordered a cheese stake salad (something I have had a lot from here) and the quality has gone down hill FAST. The second to last time they forgot the bread (which is a major reason to go here) and I went back to get it. The food was still good so we went back again. I ordered the salad again and once again they forgot the bread (but I noticed it before I left). But this time the food was bad... The biggest problem was the brown merky looking water that was pooling in the container (usually it clear like water which is acceptable) and the tomatoes were mushy and old tasting. I'm done with this place for now. This use to be our go to place to eat and suggest to others, really a sham what has happened...

    (2)
  • Donna P.

I got the Philly cheesesteak. The inside of the sandwich was really good. There was just too much bread. The sandwich is really big. They should offer a half size option.

    (3)
  • Art T.

It's not often you find a carry-out pizza joint that bakes its own bread in house! That's definitely the best find in Glen Burnie for pizza and subs! Their pizza, speaking of, is quite delicious as well, with the NY-style big slice thin crust action. I do with the crust wasn't quite so thing, as it becomes awfully crackly upon reheating (which they do when ordering by the slice). Still, homemade is homemade, and you can tell they put a lot of time and love into their food. The subs are always quality and very filling, and the pizza is pretty darn tasty, better than anything you'll find in the major chains. Authentic, for sure. I'm looking forward to trying their heartier dishes (pastas, etc.) someday, too!

  • Maria T.

I have to say I am very disappointed after my service today. After coming here consistently for 5 years today I will never come back again. I placed a very large order over $100 and there were two items missing... which were not noticed till several hours later due to my profession and being in surgery. I was told by the owner that she wanted to see our bags(which were in the trash btw) and that I should provide my order. If only this restaurant gave itemized receipts(which they do not) so there was no way to prove what I ordered. I was then told that there were other customers to attend to and argued with over about $10 worth of food that was missing. It's sad that the customer isn't always right anymore. SO..... we will never be back again.

  • Tomasa R.

I got the Sicilian with sausage and green pepper. They were falling off the pizza as if they were not cooked on and just added after the pizza was cooked. I didn't like that. They also skimped on the toppings, for the price I thought it would be loaded down. THE CRUST HOWEVER WAS THE BEST THING EVER LOVED IT!! I will go back to try a regular pie to see if its any better. I really want to like this place like everyone else does. This trip was just okay for me nothing special unfortunately. The staff is very nice though.

We were picking up folks from BWI, so we thought we would order a couple of pizzas to go after we left the airport. Their prices weren't too bad, considering we didn't have any coupons or other special discounts. In the end, the pizza was OK. The biggest faux pas here was the canned mushrooms. I just don't understand why in the world any restaurant would resort to using these slimy suckers. It's no wonder so many people were turned off by the fungi of their childhood. Why perpetuate this stigma. Anyway, we ordered a cheese and a ham, sausage, mushroom. I just DON'T understand why not one pizza shop in all of Maryland cannot find/ use/make good sausage. Ever heard of Roma Sausage Co. in Baltimore? In the end, the pizza was edible, (except for the shrooms). The crust was unremarkable but was appropriately thin, the sauce and cheese were just OK. A previous poster mentioned enjoying "ooey-gooey-drippy-greasy-cheesy slices of heaven." Unfortunately, we could not use any of those adjectives in describing our experience.

    (2)
  • Brian D.

Pizza is great, and pretty cheap given the size of the pizza. In my opinion the pizza is even better the next day if you toss it in the oven for a little while.

  • Dawn R.

After seeing the other Yelp reviews and being out in the area on some errands, I got a craving for pizza and decided to give it a try. And I'm SO glad I did! Finally, someplace that knows how to make a decent cheese pizza! Their pizza is just the way I like it......true New York style, thin crust, folds over, ooey-gooey-drippy-greasy-cheesy slices of Heaven. It was so good, I couldn't even wait til I got it home and had to have a slice right there in the parking lot. When I walked in, I also noticed they had a sign up for cheesecake.....so of course, I had to try this too. Not bad, but not the best. But it was definitely good enough that I wouldn't mind trying it again, just to be sure. I picked up one of their carry out menus, which has a lot of other items that I'm sure I'll enjoy trying. I can't wait to try their pasta!

  • Anna J.

By far my favorite NY style cheese pizza! I usually go for more of the specialty type pizzas but I get cheese every time I go to Capri. Price is good and slices are huge! They serve a lot more then just pizza and it does have a small eat-in area at the front of the shop which is nice if you don't just wanna grab a pizza and go.

    (5)
  • Umar J.

I tried Capri Cheesesteak sub, large thin crust pizza and a calzone. Cheese steak was not bad at all, decent size home made bread roll, I will give it a four. The Pizza was thin and had a nice crispy crunch but what is really disappointing is the poor ingredients used on top, canned mushrooms and cheap cheese made from oil and not milk Yuck . Same goes for the calzone. I had to trash half the pizza and calzone. Improve your ingredients and you have a solid Pizza Capri.

    (3)
  • Ashley W.

The best Italian food around! Better than an eat-in restaurant, which I believe they should buy a bigger space to become. This place has been around forever, and will continue to because of the service, family staff, and delicious food. Never have I had a Cesar salad or plain cheese pizza, as good as I have here.

  • Billy B.

Best New York style pizza in the area by far since Pizzanos shut down. Great fresh baked bread for their overstuffed subs.

    (5)
  • Heather P.

This sub shop is a little bit far from where we live but my husband and I really enjoy the food here. They have absolutely excellent subs and customer service. I really enjoy their chicken parmesean sub and my husband loves their cheese steaks. All of their subs are served on the most delicious bread and they come with a small order of fries. I would give this place five stars but the lady time we got a canoli from here and the shell tasted like french fries. This leads me to believe that they shouldn't fry the canoli shells in the same oil as the fries. Other than that minor thing we love this place.

    (4)
  • David K.

The best pizza place I have found in the Baltimore metro area. The pasta and other stuff are good, but I always go for the pizza.

    (5)
  • Lesley E.

I've gone back 2x since, and each time the amount of meat on my cheese steak is so much smaller! I do wish that their staff could speak and understand English, as well. It's hard to order something, with "no this" or "no that" when he/she doesn't really understand a thing you're saying. I will say that it's still a yummy cheese steak; just wish their quality was consistent. What can ya do!?

Had the pizza for son's birthday it was awesome so many people asked where it was from!

My New Jersey-honed standards are high, but Capri has legitimately good pizza. I usually try a place more than once before handing out a fifth star, but was prepared to do so based on the Sicilian pie alone, which was outstanding. I decided to stick to my principles and go back a few weeks later for a Neapolitan pie, which sealed the deal. While the substantial Sicilian (seriously, this thing felt like it weighed forty pounds!) is still my favorite, I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. It's a small shop in a strip mall (what *isn't* in a strip mall in Glen Burnie?), and there are only just north of 20 seats in the place. So that makes Capri primarily a takeout place; the couple of times I've been in there, I don't think I've seen more than four people actually eating in. Capri is a family-run establishment, and folks that work there are always incredibly friendly. How friendly? Well, I "liked" them on Facebook and the wife sent me a friend request. So yeah, really friendly people! While I think my homemade pizza is still the best, Capri is our go-to choice for take-out pizza. They are a cut above both the local places (Gianni's, Squisito) and the premium chains in the area (Flippin' Pizza, Mamma Lucia). It's not even worth mentioning the national chains in the same breath as Capri. There is simply no comparison.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. The pizza is awesome.

    (5)
  • Heather W.

Not much to say besides they have the best pizza I've ever had. I can't describe it and give the pizza justice, so you'll just have to go and try it yourself. It's the perfect combination of cheese and marinara and dough.

    (5)
  • Eddie S.

This is by far the best pizza I've had in my 6+ year tenure in MD. 2/2012 update: A while back I said that this was the best pizza I've had in MD. Well, they are now officially tied with 1978 NY Pizza in Pasadena.

  • Allie H.

This place has great pizza! I've gone to just about every other place in glen burnie. From Pizza ravens to pizza express to roccos and this place definitely had what I was looking for. Quality good tasting cheese, quality tasty toppings and flaky dough that you actually want to eat. It's greasy goodness. If you want pizza get capri pizza

    (5)
  • Ess C.

Not impressed. I've had their lasagna which was just ok, the pizza is ok and seriously the pizza slices are way to small for the amount of money they charge.

  • Meliphocent M.

Capri Pizza is yummy. we ordered a salad and a pepperoni pizza. The salad was really good, lots of toppings. The dressing is a homemade italian which was awesome. We also got fresh bread with our salad and munchkin ate almost the whole loaf. The pizza had crisp crust, the sauce was a little sweet and the pepperoni had a little bite. It was delicious. The only thing I didn't like was the grease on top. But I just soaked that up with a napkin. We will definitely eat here again. But we won't dine in, we'll call ahead and carry-out. The eating area was small and hot. But we also went on one of the hottest days of the year.

  • Randy J.

I wish I bought the pizza. The cheese steak sub was meaty and huge. The taste was bland almost like the meat was watery.I saw a ton of pizzas rolling out so that must be their thing. You can see its family owned by the family photos. There are a few tables to sit at but its more like a sub shop where you get the food and leave.

Was intrigued by all the reviews. Decent place to eat at and I'm happy the reviews didn't let me down.

    (4)

The Sicilian pizza is fantastic! The gyros are very good, messy, but good. My only complaint is that the fries are terrible. My husband and I eat here quite often and it is always our go to when we want pizza or gyros.

    (5)
  • Sam K.

Stopped here after a late arrival at BWI. Dinner was a hot chicken parmigiana sub which was big and tasty. You need some good food to go or they have a few seats for eat in this is a better choice than many horrible drive through options around BWI.

  • Van D.

Great Philly Steak. Freshest bread! No better in Philly (or MD). Thanks Joe

  • Jaime M.

Went here because of the previous reviews, and I was really expecting a lot. It was a good place. The pizza by the slice was yummy. I didn't really like the bread they used for the cheesesteak sub, it was more bread than anything else. Kinda seemed like a bread steak sub. I hope to one day find the right place for the perfect cheesesteak

  • Wendy B.

The fam and I just tried this place for the first time, and we were definitely impressed. My husband said it was probably the best pizza he's had in Maryland, and I agree with him. We ordered the Sicilian with pepperoni - delicious! There was a nice thick crust and the sauce was really good. Our pizza was ready in 15 min, so that was a plus. We will definitely be ordering from here again, and trying some other things on the menu. We're thrilled to have a great pizza place right around the corner from our house!

  • Vicky E.

Best pizza ive had in md ive had better just not in Maryland. It's a small hole in the all whop, but the people are nice. Usually the owners wife or daughter work the register. Prices are very cheap the bf and I had shared a greek salad and a chicken parm on spaguetti for only 20 bucks drinks included. Their salads are huge. I haven't tried their sandwiches yet.

  • Duane E.

I LOVE this place. Though what I have had there is limited, it has always been delicious! U believe it is owned and operated by Italians, which is always a plus! They serve pizza, some pastas, and subs. I typically order one of the Clazones, they are large and priced just right, and filled with delicious cheeses and are some of the best I've had. The pizzas are delicious with a slightly sweet sauce and stand well on their own. The salads I have ordered, Greek and Garden, seem to be lacking for the price, but I've been told the Chicken Cesar is where it's at, so I will be ordering that next time. The Gyro platter is well worth the price, with a small Greek salad and bread on the side. And don't forget, dessert is part of the meal so get yourself a Canoli as well. HMMMM!!

Best Pizza in the area, true New York Style which isn't easy to find in these parts. I haven't been in awhile, but I remember that the owner is actually Italian, as in born in Italy... not something you see often these days in little pizzerias. Not sure if they deliver, I never really lived quite close enough but they have a small seat yourself dining area with fun decor (framed posters of New York, Lamborghinis, the Italian soccer team, etc.) that reminds me of the places that are all to common in New York/Jersey, but not around here.

  • Drew P.

It's Capri. Which means its awesome. Fresh baked bread that will make you weak in your knees, and Sicilian pizza that will make you eat more than you should. There is limited seating, though generally available for you to utilize. Parking is ample, and you're located next to a hospital if you have a heart attack from utterly amazing take out. You seriously can't beat Capri. They just recently started taking credit, thank god. I eat there twice as much now.. I'm just not a cash carrying guy. I highly suggest trying a sub and even getting a piece of Sicilian pie just so you can sample it. The grilled chicken caesar salad is good way to go too, that homemade bread is cut up into croutons and the dressing is not overbearing but plentiful. Another great menu item is the Hot Sub Roll. Be sure to stop in if you are in the area- or even if you aren't and want an awesome pizza.

Simply put...GREAT pizza and worth the extra cost above and beyond typical chain restaurants. They have some great subs as well but we visit here most often to get carryout pizza and we are never disappointed and the kids LOVE it too!

My wife had a great veggie sub with a ton of veggies on it and I think the jalapeno poppers are homemade. Definitely worth the price!

This review is 20 years overdue, which is how long I've been going here! In high school my friends and I would go here after school or order carry out on the weekends. Fast forward 20 years and I now take the wife and kids here when visiting my parents who still live in the area. The cheesesteak I the best I've had and is the one I compare all others to. It starts with a fresh made roll then its stuffed with flavorful steak and fresh toppings to which I call the final product a tasty pocket of goodness. I've only found 2 other places in 20 years that make their subs in a similar way and they weren't nearly as good. Oh yeah, the pizza is pretty good to and is also the one I compare all others to. Thin, soft yet crispy crust, sweet and savory sauce I wish they would sell by the bottle, then topped with a great tasting layer of cheese. I'm not sure if it's a blend or not since it's too good to just be mozzarella but if it is, it doesn't matter because whatever type they use is tastier than the bland kind found at the national chains or in the grocery store.

I have been going here for 10+ years and have never had a bad meal. As far as pizza/sub shops go there is no better in the Baltimore area (perhaps all of MD), at least as far as I am concerned. While everything is great I always seem to go for the calzone which is the best I have ever had. Feel like indulging, go for the slice/calzone challenge.... And add in a cannoli for the ultimate challenge.

During my years as a reporter in "The Burnie," Capri Pizza was a mainstay for lunch. No matter how bad the day, their ample chicken caesar salads with homemade bread and dressing always turned things around. Mmmmmm, fresh-baked bread.

I've been coming here since a kid when we first moved to Glen Burnie. Their home made sub rolls are amazing. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the fries are often hit or miss. Some days good, some days not.

We order here every week or two. NY style with big slices, garlic knots, and homemade bread. Haven't found a better pizzeria yet in Maryland.

Tried Capri last night for the first time. Was very happy and wondered why we waited so long to try it out. We had a simple order, Cheese steak and Gyro. The Cheese steak was on some fresh baguette type bread which made it all that better.

Capri has the best NY-style pies in the area. Their made-from-scratch dough makes excellent crusts and hoagie rolls. Cheese fries? Check. Garlic knots? Check. The owners are the real deal. Their extensive menu and reasonable prices will keep me going back.

  • Ashley W.

The best Italian food around! Better than an eat-in restaurant, which I believe they should buy a bigger space to become. This place has been around forever, and will continue to because of the service, family staff, and delicious food. Never have I had a Cesar salad or plain cheese pizza, as good as I have here.

Best New York style pizza in the area by far since Pizzanos shut down. Great fresh baked bread for their overstuffed subs.

Not much to say besides they have the best pizza I've ever had. I can't describe it and give the pizza justice, so you'll just have to go and try it yourself. It's the perfect combination of cheese and marinara and dough.

This is by far the best pizza I've had in my 6+ year tenure in MD. 2/2012 update: A while back I said that this was the best pizza I've had in MD. Well, they are now officially tied with 1978 NY Pizza in Pasadena.

Not impressed. I've had their lasagna which was just ok, the pizza is ok and seriously the pizza slices are way to small for the amount of money they charge.

Stopped here after a late arrival at BWI. Dinner was a hot chicken parmigiana sub which was big and tasty. You need some good food to go or they have a few seats for eat in this is a better choice than many horrible drive through options around BWI.

HMMMM!!

I got the Philly cheesesteak. The inside of the sandwich was really good. There was just too much bread. The sandwich is really big. They should offer a half size option.

Excellent food and even better service. Great homemade hoagie rolls. Generous portions for the price. Highly recommended for pizza and a good sub.

Excellent pizza and salads. This place is a definite must do, if you are in the area. My only complaint is that the dining area is very small.

I this NY style pizzeria and sub shop. They bake their own bread and the ingredients are fresh and tasty. I highly recommend the family owned business where you'll always be greeted with a smiley face. The owner Karen is the heart of the business.

Tried Capri last night for the first time. Was very happy and wondered why we waited so long to try it out. We had a simple order, Cheese steak and Gyro. The Cheese steak was on some fresh baguette type bread which made it all that better.

Capri has the best NY-style pies in the area. Their made-from-scratch dough makes excellent crusts and hoagie rolls. Cheese fries? Check. Garlic knots? Check. The owners are the real deal. Their extensive menu and reasonable prices will keep me going back.

Absolutely delicious pizza, garlic knots, calamari, and salads. I wish it was closer to my home. The folks who work there could not have been a pinch nicer. Highly recommend. Thanks Capri.

I've been coming here since a kid when we first moved to Glen Burnie. Their home made sub rolls are amazing. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the fries are often hit or miss. Some days good, some days not.

Pizza is great, and pretty cheap given the size of the pizza. In my opinion the pizza is even better the next day if you toss it in the oven for a little while.

Best pizza, subs on home baked bread, awesome salads, best cheesecake around MD. Great prices, no complaints. The owner stops by frequently and will ask how your food is. I've never even seen anyone complain. Small place only a couple of tables, carryout if you have more than 4 people.

  • Ashley W.

The best Italian food around! Better than an eat-in restaurant, which I believe they should buy a bigger space to become. This place has been around forever, and will continue to because of the service, family staff, and delicious food. Never have I had a Cesar salad or plain cheese pizza, as good as I have here.

Not much to say besides they have the best pizza I've ever had. I can't describe it and give the pizza justice, so you'll just have to go and try it yourself. It's the perfect combination of cheese and marinara and dough.

  • Eddie S.

This is by far the best pizza I've had in my 6+ year tenure in MD. 2/2012 update: A while back I said that this was the best pizza I've had in MD. Well, they are now officially tied with 1978 NY Pizza in Pasadena.

  • Peter C.

Best of the best in the area and locally owned. Capri has been Millersville's best kept secret for years. The white pizza is excellent.

I wish I bought the pizza. The cheese steak sub was meaty and huge. The taste was bland almost like the meat was watery.I saw a ton of pizzas rolling out so that must be their thing. You can see its family owned by the family photos. There are a few tables to sit at but its more like a sub shop where you get the food and leave.

Stopped here after a late arrival at BWI. Dinner was a hot chicken parmigiana sub which was big and tasty. You need some good food to go or they have a few seats for eat in this is a better choice than many horrible drive through options around BWI.

HMMMM!!

Great Philly Steak. Freshest bread! No better in Philly (or MD). Thanks Joe
